Last week I travelled down to Wagga Wagga for a farm wedding (awesome by the way), on the way down I stopped in Bathurst. Bathurst has to be one of my favourite Aussie towns. It is the oldest inland city in Australia and it has so many beautiful old buildings. Lots of character and texture. And it has the absolute BEST coffee restaurant I have ever been to, called ‘Sweet Caramel’. I ordered 3 of the Hot Sweet Caramel Coffee in less then two days – you have to try it out if you are ever there. Anyways, here are some photos I took as we drove around the place. I also got to drive the Bathurst racetrack (not quite as fast as the racing greats, but was still lots of fun). I can’t wait to see the V8 Supercars race here one day…I have a new appreciation for Mount Panorama now that I have actually driven it!
